Rymill Coonawarra was founded in the early 70's by Peter Riddoch Rymill, the elder son of John and Eleanor Rymill. Coonawarra is a small strip of land in the heart of the Limestone Coast in South Australia. Producing wines that unmistakably speak of their place and reflect the character of their makers.
It was the first family-owned wine business in the Coonawarra region to boast Freshcare and Entwine accreditation achieved in 2012. These organisations provide the industry’s sustainable certifications, enabling you to see which wines are made with the highest standards and least impact on the environment.
From its distinctive winery, widely recognised by two majestic bronze stallions rampant, the Rymill Family is proud to present this classic Coonawarra wine made from grapes grown exclusively in its own terra rossa vineyards. This Cabernet Sauvignon is all about juicy and dark fruit, which linger in layers on the palate. Delicious aromas of blackcurrant and plums with an underlayer of licorice and oak with a voluptuous fruit forward palate of dark cherries and mint with dusty chocolaty tannins.
